#4740 DIFFERENT ORAL IRON PREPARATIONS IN CHRONIC KIDNEY DISEASE: A COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS
نویسندگان
چکیده
Abstract Background and Aims Anaemia is common undertreated morbidity in chronic kidney disease (CKD). Optimal approach to treatment of renal anemia matter ongoing debate. This the first comparative analysis between different oral iron preparations CKD patients. Method prospective observational multicentre study was performed from March 2019 May 2021. In total, 214 non-dialysis dependent stage3-5 patients with 3 months follow-up were included. Inclusion & exclusion criteria are mentioned Table 1. Primary outcome rise Haemoglobin at 1 month/3 Transferrin saturation (TSAT) months. Treatment adherence also evaluated. Figure depicts model. Results 2 demographic data while correlation baseline haemoglobin modifiable/non-modifiable variables. Rise TSAT has been shown 4 ANOVA tables for clinical significance this Figures 3. TSAT% highest Ferric Pyrophosphate > Fumarate Saccharate. (100%) Heme Iron Polypeptide (91.4%) Ferrous Ascorbate (88.9%). Conclusion most effective among available rising level. It effectively repletes stores adherence.

متن کاملA randomized trial of intravenous and oral iron in chronic kidney disease
Although iron is commonly used to correct iron deficiency anemia (IDA) in chronic kidney disease (CKD), its effect on kidney function is unclear. To assess this, we randomly assigned patients with stage 3 and 4 CKD and IDA to either open-label oral ferrous sulfate (69 patients to 325 mg three times daily for 8 weeks) or intravenous iron sucrose (67 patients to 200 mg every 2 weeks, total 1 g). ...

BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES Among patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD), differences in proteinuria are seen between intravenous iron preparations after a single dose exposure. This study examined differences in proteinuria between two intravenous iron preparations after multiple doses. DESIGN, SETTING, PARTICIPANTS, & MEASUREMENTS Patients with iron-deficiency anemia and CKD, stratified b...
